If you want to connect directly to your PS4 with out the need of a PC take a look at my new app known as PSPad. PSPad is the successor of ShockPad. If you continue to want to set up a connection through your PC then use ShockPad.

Introduction

ShockPad together with the PSJoy server and the official PS4 Remote Play program in your Windows PC provides you the likelihood to use your smartphone as a Dualshock gamepad. You can play your favorite games along with your smartphone appearing as a Dualshock controller.

!You have to obtain and install the PSJoy server in your Windows PC!

A connection to the PSJoy server in your PC is at all times required. You can't connect directly to your PS4. Please don't obtain ShockPad if you are on the lookout for an software that may join directly to a PS4 console.

PC-Requirements

• Windows 8.1 or newer

• Installed PSJoy server in your PC

• Installed and configured official PS4 Remote Play program

• Intel® Core™ i5-560M Processor 2.67 GHz or sooner (Quad core extremely recommended)

• 2 GB or more of RAM

• 1024 × 768 or higher display resolution

• A wired Internet connection for your PS4 and your PC is strongly really helpful (or a 5GHz WiFi for minimal delays on WiFi)

• A high-pace web connection with upload and download speeds of a minimum of 15 Mbps is recommended

The PSJoy server is able to intercept the official PS4 Remote Play program in your PC. As the PSJoy server requires the official PS4 Remote Play program on your PC, Windows 8.1 is required.
