ABOUT THE RISALE-I NUR
The Risale-i Nur, which was written by Bediuzzaman Said Nursi in Turkey between 1925-1950, is a commentary on the Holy Quran. The Risale-i Nur is a commentary on the content of the Holy Qur'an, which explains and interprets the truths of faith in it (= the Qur'an). Most of the Ayat expounded in the Risale-i Nur deal with the truths of faith (iman), such as the names of Allah, His attributes, His control in the universe, His existence, omnipresence and unity, the resurrection, hereafter, prophethood, fate (= God's foreknowledge) and acts of worship (ibadah) of man.
