The Buddhist scriptures for lay people are mostly translated from the Pali canon and some Mahayana sutras include 62 important sutras classified into 5 groups of topics: ethics, society, philosophy, meditation and Pure Land, to meet the spiritual needs of the lay people translated by Thich Nhat Tu.

Most of the suttas in this work were very popular during the Buddha's time but somewhat unfamiliar with Northern Buddhists in China, Japan, Korea, Korea, Tibet and Vietnam. The reason is that the chanting rituals in Vietnam are mostly translations of Chinese chanting rites compiled by the Chinese Patriarchs, which emphasize only the fifth part of this sutra, while omitting four other important parts, which are very important for building the happiness of the layperson in this present life.

The Buddhist scriptures for the layman contribute to the building of a world of Dewachen. , now and here, by practice and transformation.
