BlackBerry Connect™ is an enterprise prompt message (IM) and presence application that improves communication and collaboration whereas simultaneously protecting corporate data and respecting employee privateness. BlackBerry Connect extends company immediate messaging platforms like Microsoft Lync, OCS and Sametime to market leading mobile units with out requiring a VPN, firewall holes or servers within the DMZ. It supplies instant messaging, presence, and corporate directory lookup from a simple-to-use interface.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The BlackBerry Connect application requires BlackBerry Connect Server v2.1 back-end software. It will not work with earlier variations of BlackBerry Connect Server. Please contact your IT administrator for a username and entry key.
